All sessions take 45-60 minutes. All intake forms MUST be completed 48 hours prior to your appointment or your appointment will be cancelled. 

FAQs

Below, I have compiled a list of the most frequent questions that clients or potential clients ask about my services and approach. It is normal and encouraged for clients to ask many questions when choosing to work with a psychotherapist. Here are some answers to the questions I receive the most. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please get in touch.

How long does each therapy session take?

Therapy sessions can be conducted at an office or via Telehealth services. They last approximately 50-60 minutes.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Yes. Sliding scale rates are offered and discussed on an individual basis.

What techniques do you use?

We are very eclectic, but utilize specific therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, Strengths Based therapy, Play Therapy, Adaptive Behavioral Therapy and Behavior Modification.

Do you take insurances?

Yes, some insurances are accepted for services and, however clients with be responsible for a copay or coinsurance.

What psycho-educational groups do you facilitate?

We facilitate anxiety workshops, anger management, relapse prevention, women's group, men's group, teen groups, Mindfulness Groups, mental health wellness groups, social skills groups, and prevention of burnout.

In what county are you located?

We are currently providing services to Hillsborough and Pasco counties.

What languages do you speak?

We have Spanish speaking providers.

Where are sessions held?

Typically sessions are held in the comfort of your home via Telehealth or at my office.

Do you offer same day appointments?

Typically sessions are scheduled in advance by appointment only however there are some exceptions that can be made depending on immediate need to be seen and clinican availability.
